2. Signing up to take surveys
After downloading your brand new survey app or finding the perfect website, the sign-up process begins. Most times, you only need a valid email address and are asked to create a password. Some survey apps use two-factor authentification. This means, you will be asked to give your phone number, they will send you a code via SMS and after entering the code in the app, you are good to go! Other apps also offer the possibility to create an individual user name but others identify you by email only.
Also: Do not forget to turn on your push notifications for your app! You do not want to miss special offers, events or new interesting surveys. Especially new users are particularly interesting so you will probably be offered several special rewards!
3. Completing your profile

Usually, you will see how long a survey takes, how much money it pays and which topic it is about right next to the survey title. You do not need to take high-paying surveys only, because they sometimes have very narrow target groups and might disqualify you. Disqualification happens when you answer incongruently on a survey or your personal information does not match the survey´s criteria.
